Web Chat Issues
Jaconda is built using the cutting edge technologies.
It uses HTML5 WebSockets for web-chat which are supported by Safari 5, Chrome 4 and Firefox 4. For all other browsers it falls back to Flash.
So if in the message field the spinner is going non-stop it means that your browser can't establish a connection with the chat server. Please check these possible causes:
- If your browser lacks WebSockets support, check that your system has latest Flash Player installed.
- If you're behind a firewall, check that port 443 is opened.
- In case you have flash- or ad-blocker installed, please ensure that they're not blocking jaconda.im and ws.jaconda.im
