Jaconda is built using the cutting edge technologies and it uses HTML5 WebSockets which are present in Safari 5, Chrome 4 and Firefox 4 (will be released in november).
For all other browsers it falls back to flash.
We just checked it in FF 3.6.8 on OSX 10.5 and 10.6.4, everything works fine.
Do you have Flash Player installed on your system?

ok, i figured it out. you guys are using a .swf for that i guess? i have a flash blocker extension. once i white-listed the domain it's fine.
seems like something you could handle fine without flash, no? also, as a web designer, it looks like you guys could optimize your markup some.
love the service, though. it's a great idea.

Thanks for the heads-up on flash blocker. We'll add this to our FAQ article about chat issues which we're making.
ps. Thank you for supporting Jaconda. Markup will be refactored bit later, would like to hear your suggestions though.
